Extremely nice and finely organised excursion. Friendly people, warm water, delicious crab and meal in a paradise-like setting. The diving instruction even got the most anxious in the water for a marvellous underwater experience. Thanks for a beautiful day. |

My husband loves diving and I can barely swim, so when he told me he had booked a day out on the Pilla Pipa and that I was going snorkelling you can imagine how I felt!
I needn’t have worried, from the very start the crew put me at my ease and we were given a very comprehensive talk on exactly what would be happening – this could have been boring but wasn’t – the crew have been taught to engage with their guests and have a knack of knowing who needs extra attention and giving it.
So, my husband was kitted up and off, or rather down he went for his dive. Me …. I was helped into a buoyancy jacket, shown how to wear my mask and use my mouthpiece and most importantly, how to breath. At first I struggled, do you know how hard it is not to breath in through your nose when you should be breathing in through your mouth. However, once in the water I had no problems and breathing through my mouth came naturally. I was accompanied by a member of the crew all the way. He was gentle, extremely patient and never ever made me feel I was a burden. He took to the time show me the wonders of the reef that I would otherwise have missed and I will forever be grateful to this young man for showing a 55 year old, nervous woman who suffers from negative buoyancy and will only swim in water where she can stand up, that she can snorkel and enjoy the wonders of the ocean. Lunch on the island was excellent, the food, the company and the welcome a memories that will stay with me forever. Thank you so much Pilli Pipa, you made my stay in Kenya one to remember. |

Sandie and I are back into the routine of normal life and diving seems a long way away.... We had a fantastic time in Kenya and the diving was superb. Your staff were all very welcoming and professional and made the business of learning to dive such an enjoyable experience – we are now figuring out when we can come back.
Please pass on our particular appreciation to Yatin who made it all such fun and was an excellent instructor. We have a whole load of memories to treasure. |

On the way back through Shimoni you can visit the slave caves – quite interesting and the entrance fee goes back to the local community. We were back at our hotel by 5p.m. This was a fantastic day with a really professional group using good equipment and knowledgeable, courteous staff. Their office is in Colliers Centre near Leonardo’s restaurant on the Diani Beach Road not far from Barclays Bank. |

Please pass on our thanks to your crew – we all had a wonderful time, from the adults down to the one year old! All of us were able to dive with the abundant fish, the kids had a great time snorkelling and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious lunch. Your crew were very good and took care of our every need, and were wonderful in encouraging the kids to venture out into the ocean to view the marine life. We will recommend Pilli Pipa to our friends. |

I had a lovely time recently (23.02.10) diving from one of your dhows en route to Wasini. I especially loved the wreck of the Saraja site. I would like to say a big thank you for the experience and particularly to Omar Mwarome who was great. |
