  • PILLI PIPA   has two dhows  and therefore can ensure small numbers on each for added safety and individual service.   It is a wonderful learning experience for beginners and non swimmers. Hold on to the life ring and one of our crew will happily pull you around.

Professional:   Pilli Pipa has been running since 1989  still with some of the same crew. The crew have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. Through this dedication we can provide high quality service every time.

Safety:   Safety is our main priority to make sure you have an enjoyable day. The day excursion satisfies British health and safety standards as inspected by  major tour operators. All crew are First Aid trained and undergo regular refresher courses.

Equipment:   There are buoyancy jackets,  twin valve snorkels with comfit mouthpieces, wide range of silicone masks  to fit every face and numerous different sizes and brands of fins. The crew will individually assess you on your experience, and personally fit you with suitable equipment. PRESCRIPTION MASKS (-3 to -9) are also available.

Dolphin Sightings on a regular basis:    Some guests have even had the luck to swim with dolphins.  We are careful to follow the "Code of Conduct" to ensure the dolphins are not chased, harassed, or put under stress Snorkelers have also been lucky enough to see whales and whale sharks.

Full Day:  Your day will begin with a pick up from your hotel to Shimoni. Tea, coffee and biscuits are offered on the dhow whilst you are being fully briefed.  Refreshments will be provided including fresh fruit and our famous home baked pizza bread. After snorkelling we head back to the private garden of Selina and Harm for a late lunch.

This will truly be a meal to remember served by smiling Swahili ladies, with white wine and beer.  After  lunch you have time to relax over tea, coffee and patisserie in our 'Day Dreamer's Lounge'. Far from the maddening crowd!

YOU do can do some bird watching or look up anything you have seen in our comprehensive marine library then finally return to Shimoni by sail (weather permitting) where you will have time to visit the cave.
